Fall 2020: Mount Rainier National Park

Preliminary

I had assumed that Mount Rainier National Park was a one-trick pony, with the aforenamed mountain hogging the scenes.  I was pleasantly surprised.

And you though Mt Rainier National Park was all about Mt Rainier. Well, have I got a surprise for you. It has more mountains, valleys and even Mt St Helens in the distance. This is not a one-trick pony.

The ripples on Reflection Lakes were not cooperating when I visited, so you’ll need to imagine a smooth, reflective surface.

 

While views of high places are interesting, so are views from high places.

Frozen Lake (which is not frozen) sits relatively high between trails and mountains
